Interior decoration of the frame house

It would seem that the house is built. However, it does not fit for housing, as it still resembles an empty box. In order to give the room a residential and cozy appearance - it needs subsequent decoration, both external and internal. The interior decoration of the frame house itself is divided into two stages: draft work and finish finishing. Each of the stages is important in its own way and we will tell more about them in more detail.

What is meant by interior decoration?

The interior decoration of the house allows you to give the room not only a complete look, but also to bring repairs or construction to a logical end. Depending on the task, actions differ. For example, if repairs were carried out inside the already built room, then it is not necessary to carry out work on draft decoration.

There are several rules on which you should rely on the interior decoration of the house with your own hands, if you wish,:

  • The decoration of the premises is carried out by progressively, as it passes. It is not recommended to start finishing work in all rooms at once,
  • If there are several rooms, then the repair initially begins in the farthest from the front door to the room,
  • All finishing work is carried out after new communications have been replaced or laid, such as cable channels, water pipes and electric cables,
  • Repair is carried out from top to bottom: first, work with the ceiling is carried out, then the internal walls of the house are finished. Next comes the turn of the floor. The exception is the case when stretch ceilings are used in the frame house. In this case, the ceiling is attached last,
  • All sections of the premises that are not involved in the decoration will be advisable to cover with dense plastic film to protect the surfaces from pollution and construction waste.

As a rule, several factors also affect the speed of the finish.

  • The complexity of the decoration of the room,
  • Timely delivery of materials,
  • budget,
  • Force-major circumstances.

On average, the interior decoration of a small house with an area of 40 m2 can take a month, with an area of 60 m2 for 1.5-2 months, and a comprehensive decoration of a multi-storey building will require 3 months of work. For the most part, the terms of work depend on the qualification of the invited construction team. Many firms offer turnkey frame houses already, while all work, starting from the preparation of the foundation, take no more than two months to the transfer of keys to the key. If you want to carry out the finish with your own hand, it must be borne in mind that without the presence of the proper amount of free time, repair can be delayed for years. No wonder it is said that the repair does not end, it is suspended.

Black decoration of the house includes measures to prepare the surface of the walls, floor and ceiling for finishing work. Such events mean the removal of old or poor -quality coating, preparation and alignment of surfaces, floor screed and installation of slopes on the windows.

The finish is the final stages of finishing work, when the walls and ceiling are painted or wrapping wallpaper, or the decoration of facing materials.

The use of natural wood lining will favorably affect not only the aesthetics of the interior, but also on the reigning room with microclimate. Moreover, the combination of cedar and linden wood will reduce the occurrence of headaches. Properly selected finishing materials will allow you to change the interior as soon as possible.

What materials are used?

The modern materials market offers many different solutions for every taste. In fact, it all depends on the allocated budget and personal preferences. For black finishes, drywall and OSB sheets are often used. Their advantage is that the flat surface of the sheet allows you to hide the flaws of the walls, such as:

  • a curved or unprocessed wall surface,
  • the need to install an internal partition,
  • the implementation of complex design compositions,

The indicated materials will allow in a short time to make the lining of the internal walls and prepare them for further finishing finishing work. The following materials are used for finishing:

  • Wallpaper. On the market are represented by such varieties:
    • Traditional paper. They differ in a low price, but at the same time they are often aesthetically unattractive, are not resistant to moisture and cold, and at the same time they are short -lived. Well suited for pasting walls of non -residential premises, or as a temporary solution,
    • Vinyl varieties are characterized by increased strength and resistance to mechanical damage,
    • Acrylic wallpapers are good with their moisture resistance and durability,
    • Wnerle wallpaper from foamed vinyl are often used as the basis for applying decorative paint,
    • Fiberglass wallpapers are characterized by high fire safety and mechanical strength. In this case, they are suitable for painting walls,
    • Wall murals are noteworthy in that they allow you to recreate a kind of living corner inside the house.

  • Ceramic tiles for cladding. It is good in that it is characterized by high wear resistance and high degree of decorativeness. In this case, it requires a perfectly flat surface. It is advisable to attach it to drywall, or on a carefully leveled surface of the wall. The tile is good in that there are many textured varieties that perfectly imitate various surfaces on the market: from brick to natural stone.

  • The lining of natural wood will bring the room a natural look and home comfort. In addition, wood is characterized by high heat and soundproofing characteristics. Specialists divide the types of lining into categories in quality of final products:
    • Extra variety indicates a high -quality product, without defects on the surface,
    • the variety A admits the presence of small darkened spots and chips in the lamellas,
    • The variety in means that on one lamella there are several knots and cracks,
    • The variety with is characterized by a low price, while wood lamellas often have such surface defects as cracks, knots, tar bags and darkening spots.

On the other hand, when creating a vintage situation, such lamellas will give the room a more noble view under the old days.

  • A plastic lining is characterized by a low price and ease of installation. Plastic or PVC are not exposed to biological activities, but at the same time they are not able to bring real comfort to the room. The artificiality of the material is immediately noticeable by eye. Their heat and sound insulation characteristics are inferior to similar models made of natural wood, but at the same time the advantages of PVC for decoration made it possible to ensure such popularity of the material.

  • Liquid wallpaper is a dry mixture of binder and fibers of cotton or cellulose. Such a variety of wallpaper is successful in that it allows you to hide the surface defects on which it was applied. In addition, due to their texture, liquid wallpaper is valuable with decorativeness.

  • Decorative plaster is known for its refractory and mechanical properties. At the same time, it is easy to apply, and the final cost is not characterized by high rates.

  • Glassnia sheets are a fairly new material. It includes wood chips, fiberglass mesh and chemical additives. Such material has refractory and moisture resistance, while providing good adhesion with almost any material applied.

  • A flexible stone combines all the advantages of the factory, but at the same time has plasticity and flexibility. Such material is available in the form of wallpaper and decorative plates. It is characterized by ease of installation and wear resistance, along with high indicators of environmental friendliness and resistance to external factors.

How does the interior decoration of the frame house begins

Any work begins with preparatory stages. After all communication systems have been installed and laid, it is first necessary to decide on the place of placement of sockets, switches and conclusions of the water system. Further, work is carried out depending on the material used.

First you need to stock up on a tool that is in demand in any situation:

  • roulette,
  • putty knife,
  • building level,

At the same time, it is also worth remembering that any work requires the proper degree of protection. Glasses with polycarbonate lenses will close their eyes from the hit of the construction particles in them, and good strong gloves will protect their hands from possible cuts.

Gypsum cardboard decoration: Features

Gypsum cardboard is good because it allows you to hide all the irregularities of any surface. At the same time, it is not required to produce labor -intensive wall alignment due to the fact that drywall sheets are attached to the metal frame. The sheet installation work itself is carried out quickly.

At the same time, the material demonstrates another advantage: the free space between the sheet and the wall allows you to hide the cable channels with electric wiring there. Among other things, the low weight of the drywall sheets does not create a significant load on the floors, and thanks to this complex geometric structures are built, including even multi -level ceilings.

If the frame house inside is an unheated dwelling, then the decision to use drywall for the interior decoration will be correct.

The installation of sheets itself is divided into several stages:

  • On the planned line, the starting UD profiles are attached with the help of self-tapping screws,
  • The wiring is laid in special plastic boxes or corrugated flexible pipes from PVC,

  • Free space, if necessary, is laid by insulation,
  • The drywall sheets are laid on the profile and attached to it with self -tapping screws. In this case, the self -tapping hat should be pulled deep into at least 1 mm,
  • The seams between the sheets are filled with putty. In this case, the excess material is removed by the spatula and the sutures are aligned,
  • After that, with the help of grinding fine -grained sandpaper, all joints are polished and the surface of the drywall sheet is ready for the finish and applying any selected material on it.

Finishing slabs OSB

The installation of such plates itself is not much different from the process of lining with drywall, with the only difference being that the OSB plates have much greater weight. Therefore, the decoration of the frame house with such a material will require more durable and reliable fasteners.

When laying plates, it is worth considering the following features:

  • To fasten the plates to the wooden frame, spiral nails 50 mm long are used,
  • In places of connection, nails are driven every 15 cm,
  • At the edges to the edge of the walls, gaps of 1 cm should be left, the distance between the slabs that do not have a connection - no more than 2 mm,
  • On the floor, the OSB sheets are laid perpendicular to the lags,

  • After fastening, the surface of the plate is recommended to fabble with fine -grained sandpaper,
  • Plates are also recommended to be covered with varnish in three layers, with a thorough and natural drying of each applied layer. Such a coating will protect the structure of the material from the possible penetration of moisture,

If it is planned to cover the surface of the OSB with the plate with paint or plaster, then in this case it will be necessary to primer it first.

Plaster and wallpaper for painting

Decorative plaster for the interior decoration of the house, a photo with the performance of which are provided below - serves as an excellent option. Such material will hide the defects of the walls and its irregularities.

She is good because she is not afraid of moisture and does not absorb soot and smells, which is especially valuable for the kitchen. In addition, plaster can be washed.

Wallpaper for painting is good in that over time they allow you to fully change the interior, without resorting to significant spending. To do this, it is enough to repaint them, covering the old one with a layer of new paint. In addition, wallpapers for painting often have texture, allowing you to create a homogeneous and seamless surface.

The gluing of such wallpaper itself is no different from gluing simple wallpaper, with the difference that after gluing, the wallpaper must be given a day before applying paint on them.

The use of the lining and imitation of the beam

Many varieties of the lining are interesting in that they are able to recreate a full -fledged imitation of wood, which is especially relevant for country houses. The presence of wood resins will allow the bar to maintain its durability and other properties.

At the same time, the price of such material is democratic and can afford even small budgets. Especially if you purchase a lining of variety C, which, despite the defectiveness of the surface, will bring vintage to the interior of a country house.

The price of a high -quality lining starts from $ 8 for a lamella 4 m long and 10 cm wide.

The wood imitators are good for their environmental friendliness and resistance. The lining due to heat treatment does not crack over time and does not lose its qualities. Therefore, the indicated material for a long time will remain attractive in the eyes of many owners of country houses, who decided to make interior decoration precisely with this material.
