Advantages of monolithic concrete and its characteristic

The construction of a private house is a complex and long and expensive process. If the financial side is limited, we recommend that you look at the method of building a monolithic house.

Foam concrete is made directly on the construction site, its advantages are distinguished:

  • manufacturing of multi -storey buildings;
  • creation of complex configuration projects;
  • lack of butt joints;
  • sealing;
  • the ability to adjust the thickness of the walls in the house;
  • Creation of volumetric premises.

Thanks to the technology of monolithic construction, the reinforcement consumption is reduced by twenty percent. The energy expenses are reduced by forty percent.

A monolithic foam concrete is distinguished by the following shortcomings:

  • cannot be used at a negative temperature;
  • The freezing of the walls leads to their rapid destruction.

Working with foam concrete in the winter season, adhere to recommendations:

  • Add the ingredients of the anti -gun or connecting type to the construction compounds;
  • Before starting the composition of the composition, warm it to obtain the optimal strength of the compounds;
  • Heating of foam concrete is performed by special heaters, which place the container with concrete inward;
  • The option of using a purchased solution is also possible, which is also heated in mixers;
  • Some builders use heating formwork.

The cost of winter construction is an order of magnitude higher than summer. Therefore, if you want to save, do all the work in the summer.

Characterization of monolithic filling technology

Monolithic structures from the varieties of a monolithic foam concrete are made both on mortar nodes and on construction sites. In the process of preparing the solution, a foam is supplied to it, thanks to which its strength is ensured.

To control the foaming, special high -precision electronics are used. The supply of finished composition for filling is carried out by pumping equipment.

The formwork for filling with foam concrete is of two types:

  • removable;
  • non -removable.

The most optimal option is a lightweight formwork made of plastic. Factory formwork is made of brick, finishing stone or glass -legged.

The insulation from foam concrete structures on a synthetic basis will help improve the thermal insulation characteristics of structures. Walls with additional insulation are distinguished by high energy saving.

Thanks to the uniformity of foam concrete - it is characterized by high strength. There are no cold bridges in the walls of a monolithic house. The wall differs evenly, does not need additional leveling. The time for the construction of houses from foam concrete is two, three weeks. Since mobile equipment is used in the process, and the complexity is minimal, the cost of the work is quite low, even compared to ready -made foam blocks. Monolithic structures are distinguished by a long service life, safety and environmental friendliness.

A monolithic foam concrete is used not only to create external walls, but also for warming the floor, ceiling, foundation and other engineering communications.

At the initial stage, a wooden, brick or steel formwork is built. Next, the frame is finished with plasterboard, brick or porous blocks. Removable formwork is built from plywood or boards.

Next, the process of pouring concrete in the formwork follows. If non -removable formwork is used, then cables, wiring and other communications are first installed in it. Thus, we get a multilayer monolithic structure that does not need exterior decoration.

Equipment for monolithic foam concrete

Self -manufacture of foam concrete at home, several times reduces the cost of building a monolithic house. On below, the presented equipment can be created by foam concrete of the D600 brand. In the process, the availability of:

  • sand;
  • cement;
  • water;
  • foaming agent;
  • equipment.

For the manufacture of form, use wood, metal or plastic. The dimensions of foam blocks choose most often standard ones. Use metal to make a shape. This material is most durable and is able to withstand more than a hundred working cycles. Build a rectangular shape, divided into several cells. All butt elements are located outside, thus, the inner surface of the block is smooth.

The next element of the system for the manufacture of foam concrete is the mixer. The option of using concrete mixers is possible. For the manufacture of a small amount of solution, an electric drill with a special nozzle is also suitable. In this case, you need a container for a knead in the form of a vat, a large bathtub or a pan.

The size of the reservoir for the batch of the solution should be correlated with the size of the shape of the foam blocks. Partial filling of the form with a solution is not allowed. This will negatively affect the quality of the resulting material.

The most complex structural element is the foam teacher. Take a steel barrel, install the entrance and output valves and compressor installation in it. A small grill should be on the outlet valve. Fill the container with water and a foaming substance. To adjust the foaming, use a compressor and a foaming substance. The foam is supplied under pressure, and the small grate provides its uniform distribution. The design of the foaming agent is the most important process, the success of the entire system directly depends on the quality of implementation.

Self -manufacture of foam concrete - step -by -step instructions

We conditionally divide the production of monolithic foam concrete into two stages:

  • filling;
  • Creating walls.

At the initial stage, organize the workplace in such a way as to ensure the maximum convenience of work. Bring the source of permanent water supply, electricity to the construction site, prepare the system for work, tools, containers for the solution. Prepare the components in the form of cement, water, aggregates, foaming agent.

In order not to get confused in proportions, print a table with an exact amount of ingredient and always hold it at hand. Pay attention to the natural conditions of the production process, the optimum temperature for work 15-20 degrees of heat, humidity in the range of 40-60%.

Features of the creation of a monolithic house - instructions for pouring foam concrete:

1. Prepare forms for filling. Install them on a flat and solid surface. Lubricate the inside of the form with machine or vegetable oil. Thus, it will be possible to facilitate the process of pulling out the blocks. Install the forms on the area protected from atmospheric exposure.

2. Measure the ingredients for the preparation of aerated concrete solution. Combine the sand with a cement among themselves in a previously prepared concrete mixer. Two proportions to one. Use yellow river sand, peeled and well washed. After thorough mixing of the components, add a foaming agent to them. The proportion is indicated by the manufacturer. The average value of the foaming agent per kilogram of cement mortar is three grams. The option of replacing the foaming agent with foam balls is possible.

3. Fill the forms with a solution, perform work quickly. The solution is dried for two days in the summer. Remove the finished foam blocks from the form and use it for its intended purpose.

In order to create monolithic walls from foam concrete, the forms are replaced by formwork. Two of its options are distinguished - removable and non -removable. It turns out a seamless, perfectly smooth wall with good thermal insulation characteristics.

We build monolithic walls with our own hands

To fill the walls with foam concrete, we recommend that you stop on a constant formwork version. Non -removable formwork provides greater insulation and increases the life of the entire structure. In the process of working on the walls of the house, the presence will be required:

  • foam concrete;
  • wood for the construction of formwork;
  • nails and hammer;
  • moisture -resistant drywall;
  • self -tapping screws;
  • screwdriver.

Before the start of filling, prepare the frame structure. Foam concrete is characterized by a liquid consistency, so the filling capacity should be absolutely tight. First build a wall from a beam and boards. To fix them, use nails. Check the design for evenness by the construction level.

Fix the bar on the floor and on the ceiling, with an interval of half a meter, install the following. To fix the beam, use steel brackets. Set the boards transversely in relation to the beam, the interval of their fixation is also half a meter. The frame is installed on the frame part in the form of drywall. Fix it with self -tapping screws. The step of installing screws should be minimal, since the design should have maximum tightness. Additionally process the joints between drywall with a silicone -based sealant.

Previously prepared foam concrete is poured into the design. Use a bucket or bucket to fill the foam concrete. With large volumes of work, use special pumping equipment. Previously, water supply, heating, electricity are carried out inside the walls.

Another option for creating monolithic foam concrete walls is the use of removable formwork. Since foam concrete has a liquid consistency, this method is inconvenient and difficult to execute. In this case, we recommend replacing a foam concrete with polystyrene concrete.

To make a removable formwork, use ready -made sheets or laminated plywood. After the foam concrete is completely solidified, the formwork is dismantled. Walls made in this way are less durable and have low thermal insulation characteristics.

The inside of the removable formwork should differ in maximum smoothness, for safe dismantling it after pouring. Therefore, use a plastic or laminated design.

Advantages, disadvantages of monolithic construction - care for monolithic structures

The construction of a monolithic house is a rather fast and economically profitable process. The use of foam concrete significantly reduces all the reduces all the work. Among the advantages of monolithic houses we note:

  • creation of buildings different in shape and configuration;
  • the possibility of independent construction of the house;
  • the acceleration of the construction process is several times compared to other technologies;
  • excellent heat and sound insulation characteristics;
  • the implementation of the entire production process directly on the site;
  • ease of installation of engineering communications;
  • lack of need to prepare a house for external decoration;
  • Lack of seams, cold bridges, high strength of the resulting structure.

Among the shortcomings of monolithic construction, we note:

  • the need to use special equipment for the production of foam concrete;
  • a large amount of wet work;
  • Carrying out work exclusively in the warm season, otherwise, the quality of the resulting structure is reduced;
  • an impressive weight of the resulting design that needs a massive foundation;
  • Low vapor permeability of the walls, due to the lack of seams in them.

In order to improve the quality of the resulting wall, after pouring a monolithic foam concrete, it needs additional care:

  • To make the composition evenly and smoothly grasp, pour it with sand or sawdust;
  • in the summer of the year, irrigate the walls with water to prevent their drying out;
  • Apply a captured lacquer or emulsion solution to the walls, which provides additional protection against external stimuli;
  • To prevent excessive drying of the solution, cover it with polyethylene film.

If a monolithic foam concrete is used in the winter season, then in the process of preparing it, use frost -resistant additives that prevent water freezing.
