  • roulette for marking;
  • electric jigsaw/circular saw (if you order polycarbonate already cut in size, these tools may not be useful);
  • gravel;
  • cement;
  • sand;
  • aluminum and perforated tape;
  • profile pipe;
  • fasteners;
  • a set of profiles for polycarbonate.

Mandatory you will also need drawings of a polycarbonate canopy indicating all sizes of structural elements. The number of necessary materials is determined depending on the project you selected (developed).

Construction of a polycarbonate canopy procedure for conducting work

  1. Clean and align the site.
  2. Mark the places of supporting racks.
  3. Drill the well in the ground with a drill. Their depth should be at least half a meter.

  5. After three days (necessary for sufficient solidification of the solution), using electric welding, perform the upper strapping.

Note! A competent device of a polycarbonate canopy involves the presence of at least 4-5 millimeters between the sheets of compensation temperature gaps. Since the material has a high coefficient of thermal expansion, non -compliance with this recommendation can lead to a rapid deterioration in the operational and aesthetic properties of the structure. For the same reason, the attaching screws should not be tightened to the end.

It is better to remove transport packaging from polycarbonate at the end of installation work. When installing, keep in mind that a special protective film should be facing the sun.

You can protect the end joints of the sheets using a perforated tape or special linings.
