Setting the floor under the laminate: the main types and stages

Preparation of the surface, one of the main stages before laying the coating. Alignment of the floor under the laminate, will become the main key to the long -term service of the selected material. It is worth approaching this issue with responsibility.

The screed is one of the most basic methods to give your surface evenness. All irregularities can be aligned by using liquid solutions, or using leaf coatings. The last option provides for the use of sheets of plywood made of gypsum fiber. Whatever the way you prefer, it is important to remember that the leveling of the floor under the laminate is the most crucial stage, and it is from it that the further course of the work will be curtained.

The liquid screed is carried out when using the solution. The mixture is prepared from three components: cement, sand, water. The proportion is equal to the ratio of 1: 3: 0.5. The option is possible using ready -made mixtures. They should be mixed with water until a homogeneous mass is obtained. Using the level, it is necessary to set the height of the future coating. Clean the floor surface of extraneous particles. Install the guide rails.
They should be attached to the solution, immersing up to half into the finished mixture. The first guide should be 20 - 30 centimeters from the wall. Each next at a distance of 1.5 meters from each other. The finished mixture is laid out in the openings and leveled with the help of it. After a day, you should pull the beacons and wipe the resulting cracks with a cement mortar. After 2 hours, wipe all the tubercles with polo. The flooring will be ready for the flooring of the laminate after 28 days.

Before laying the dry version of the screed, you should clean the surface of the garbage, and leave the sheets for 48 hours in the room. This is necessary for acclimatization. If there are cracks on the surface, they should be sealed with a solution. We lay the film, so that its edges go above the level of the future floor on the walls. A chomic tape is mounted around the perimeter of the room. The surface is poured with dry backfill, with its further leveling with a rail. Sheets must be laid out in two layers. Joints on each layer should not touch each other. The second layer is mounted with glue to fix it use screws. The lambing and grinding are the final stage of installation of the screed.
