Before painting, you can glue the space around the skirting board with a tape or plastered paper by about thirty centimeters so as not to accidentally paint the walls. To finish ready -made polyurethane skirting boards, it is better to use a spray gun, which can paint the surface more evenly. The coating can be applied by a single or several layers, it depends on the requirements of the manufacturer.

Restoration of polyurethane baseboard

Polyurethane is a rather durable material, but as a result of improper installation on it, cracks may also appear in the joints. If the polyurethane skirting boat is dispersed, then first you need to wait for a complete shrink of crack. When the discrepancy in the joints of the joint will cease to visually increase, the crack should be treated with the docking glue. To do this, you need to wrap the seam - remove the remaining old glue with a large file.
