The use of penetrating waterproofing on brick and stone surfaces

 

  • Penetron is essentially a fairly unique waterproofing agent. It works not only with concrete, but also with brick and stone. But in case of such application, some features should be taken into account.

  • Initially, the working surface should be detachable. To do this, only those cement-sand solutions are suitable, which have a brand not lower than the M150 and in no case should you use gypsum plaster or lime solution.
  • Initially, a masonry grid with a cell size of 50x50 mm or 100x100 mm is fixed on the surface. The plaster layer is applied no thinner than 4 cm, while so that there are no air layers.

It is important to ensure that the processed concrete is protected from mechanical damage for 3 days. Also, it is impossible to allow premature drying of the surfaces, as this will lead to peeling and cracking. To avoid this trouble, the following methods can be applied:
