Modern types of stretch ceilings

Existing types of suspended ceilings, first of all, differ from each other in their texture. This allows you to decorate the room with a film in a variety of styles: fabric, mirror, marble or standard, perfectly flat plain surface. Thanks to the rich selection of materials, the ceiling can be decorated with the wishes and preferences of the owner of the apartment. Today, the types of suspended ceilings are divided into three categories.

Satin (matte) films. The main difference between these films is the fact that after stretching they, like two drops of water, are similar to a “natural” ceiling. The canvases have a relatively low reflective ability, due to which, looking at the stretched coating, it seems that the ceiling is covered with water -based paint. We add that today the films of this category are represented by many color solutions.

Glossy (lacquer) stretch ceilings. The main advantage of these films is their high reflective ability - they seem to raise the ceiling level by reflecting the room in it. If compared with matte films, these canvases are represented by a more advanced palette of colors. It should be noted that they practically do not require any care - with a slight clouding, it is enough to wipe the surface with a dry cloth.

Textured films. A similar classification of ceilings is gaining popularity every day. The canvases can be decorated in any style: wood, leather, marble, “a la” high-tech, rain drops, etc. The cost of textured stretch ceilings compared to other types is relatively high.
